Not there yet but I'm having fun with this single-player mode. It's quite entertaining albiet relatively cheap in some parts (fucking things with sickles for hands are insanely cheap)

Yeah they are nasty, but the final boss is just...wow, it took us a good 20 tries to take him down...on NORMAL difficulty.

I am dying here and there but I don't find the game overly difficult. I still hardly use the block or dodge even if the bosses use them. But it is quite fun, I'm surprised

Just a note to explain the Subspace Emissary, it was written by Nojima and had the Lunar/Grandia guys working on it as well. That explains why the Boss is the way he is =)
