So, I've got a Wii in me dorm room now.
It's beautiful.
SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL.
And soon it will be done updating and I will be able to smash some bros online.

Post your Wii number in the sticky so we can all add each other. Of course, we're all going to get ANOTHER 12-digit, SSMBB-specific code we'll have to enter too....what a fucking pain in the ass.
I've been lovin' all the single player stuff. I'm about 55% done the Subspace Emissary mode (just got ROB :-) and was fiddling with the Homerun (got 1534 or so), Target (does anyone know how to get more than one level here?), Melee (ALMOST got the 100 on my first try, just 9 short; 59 on the endless for try #1), and Events (I've beaten the only 20 I've seen on Hard, are there more?) modes. I'm currently sittting at about 110 trophies (there are over 500!!!) and about 160 stickers. Then you take a look at all the music, historical game releases, demos, stage builder.....there's a TON of shit in this game. It's insane.
I actually tried to get online to play random people on Sunday and couldn't but haven't tried since. Spectator Mode worked, though, that was kind of neat.
I'm trying to get some people together for some online play on Sunday (see thread below). If you're interested, let us know.

I haven't been able to get Spectator to pop up yet unfortunatly, as far as events go there are 41 single player and then a bunch of co-op events as well. I have unlocked all characters, and almost all stages at this point. I have 130 tropheys and looks like 160 stickers.

Just above the "For Children Aged 12 and Under" sticker, if I recall...

You will find your Wii system number in your address book on the buliten board on the main menu. Your smash number can be gotten in the With Friends section of the Nintendo WFC section of Smash

Don't forget about RE4 on Wii, if you don't have it, it is a must have. if you have it on another system and you ever feel like playing again worth it to shell out the 25 bucks to get the upgraded Wii version.
Warioware is also an excellent game, as is Galaxy. Zelda I actually didn't enjoy nearly as much as Majora's Mask or Ocarina of Time, there are a lot of very good things about it, but I found the overall game to not be my preferred flavour. Ocarina is available for VC, but MM has yet to come. For VC, I highly recommend Sin and Punishment, though it is the most expensive title on the system, Mario 3 would be another good choice, and the DKC trilogy along with ActRaiser, and the original Harvest Moon (simple in dialogue, but the most charming game in the series) and granted you have the time: Phantasy Star 2 and Breath of Fire 2, both have excellent stories, Breath of Fire 2 was surprisingly great, I had never played through the whole game before. The Sonics and such are also good to get for convenience sake, but pretty much all Sega games can be acquired more cheaply on Gamecube disk, so it is really a matter of convenience (actually, this is the same deal with Zelda titles, they can be found cheaply on gamecube disk).
ActRaiser is out, so this gives me GREAT hope for the Soulblazer trilogy. THe major bombs Nintendo themselves are holding back are 1) Earthbound, 2) Mario RPG, and 3) Majora's Mask.
