  • GTA4, PS3 vs X-Box 360?

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

I have a feeling there won't be any major differences in terms of gameplay or graphics considering GTA games never have the most mind-blowing graphics. The screens I've seen look great, but not amazing compared to some other newer games.

I'd go for the 360 version just because they are getting exclusive DLC. You might not plan on buying the DLC right now, but if you get the PS3 version you'll never be able to get it if you change your mind.

All you need to know is that it was developed with the 360 in mind (difficult to go from 360 to PS3, easy the other way) and that the exclusive downloadable content is coming to Live.

The Live content might be the deciding factor for me then.

The development should be if anything. It's very hard to translate a game from the 360 to the PS3 but easy the other way. That's why nearly every multiplatform game plays better on the 360, it usually started there. Burnout Paradise is an exception as it was developed for both simultaneously by different groups.

Just use the 360 for your multi-platform games for the most part and the PS3 and Wii for exclusive stuff. There will be some exceptions but it's a decent guideline to follow

Devil May Cry 4 PS3 > Devil May Cry 4 X-Box 360!

And I pay attention to these things Zeusy. :P Which is why I was looking for further comparisons between the two.

Doesn't seem worth it for me. The load times weren't all that noticeable.

It's about a 20 minute install.
