Phantasy Star 1 is a steal at that price, IMO

I got that game...for $0 dollars. I still don't understand why any of you buy stuff you can get for free (especially since 99% of these games don't age well and are nowhere near as fun as you remember).

I've found that an emulator is generally far superior as a platform compared to any console emulating one, since you can speed it up and load/save at will. For example there's a military simulation game I play on Sega Genesis. The AI takes about 20 minutes to an hour for one of its turn. On any system that pretends to act like a normal Genesis you basically go eat dinner or something after you're done with your turn, and you go cry in a corner if you realize you made a crucial mistake and now have to load your game again. On an emulator you just set frame skip to the highest setting and the AI's turn will be done in a few minutes.

I have multiple copies of the game on a couple different platforms. It's not for me, it's for the people who might not have played it. For $4, it's almost negligible.

As I've mentioned before, I ain't huge on the digital distribution stuff anyways but I know most people don't care for the right price. I think there are some Master System games, like Phantasy Star or Zillion, that are worth $4 to play since they're good and you're gonna get more than a few hours out of them.

And I don't really pirate games, I collect them. The only ones I have which I have pirated are the Japanese releases we don't get (like the Mother 3 I have waiting for a translation). Nothing to do with principle or anything, collecting games is just my hobby.

Same with DVDs. Just movies and TV shows that I don't deem worthly of my money I pirate.
