You do realize the Dual Shock 3 is basically the same controller with rumble right?

that's what i was thinking, DS3 = DS2 + Sixaxis, so i don't see how there's any innovation being lost here.

I thought Sony games couldn't function with rumble because it would disturb the motion detectors.

Nah, Sony didn't want to pay the patent owners of the rumbling but they finally worked out a deal
