It's lame as fuck now and we may have been a bit desensitized with all the rumbling we get, but I'd rather have it than not. This thing and the excellent use in Star Fox and Goldeneye is what popularized it for console gamers.

I remember how cool it was to play it with Starfox. You were the most popular kid in school if you had managed to get a rumble pack, let alone two, when they first came out.

I do like the rumbling still today, I don't think it's utilized enough/properly, but it's still an important feature.
