Hey Barret, how's it going? I hear you have a ps3. Well, if you you haven't preordered MGS4 and gotten your beta key, then you have to go this crazy roundabout way of getting it.

Good luck, the directions are in japanese and broken down into french and then broken down into english. Needless to say, it is a little confusing.

Boner.

The multiplayer on MGS3: Subsistence was awful. And since the Japanese have an aversion to voice chat (IT'S RUDE!), you can pretty much bet on MGS Online being a failure on both sides of the Pacific. While I can apprecaite KCET's attempt at bridging the gap offering MGS style gameplay in a multiplayer capacity, they're simply making a huge mistake. The Japanese gamers neither want, nor can comprehend shooters, let alone multipllayer team-based shooters, so much as North Americans can comprehend the fascination with any and every Gundam or child-fondling game released no matter what it's quality.

I await the reception to MGS Online, but I really don't expect anybody to be talking about it a year from now (or even six months from it's release).

It's true. They think voice chat and cross-game invites are rude. That's why games like Hot Shots Golf and GT5: Prologue don't have voice chat, and why the PS3 can't do cross-game invites.

Oh I'm aware, I find it equally funny is all.
