Nintendo can pucker up and kiss my ass too. I have about 70 games registered with them and all I've gotten was the Zelda collection, a Pokemon mini-guide thing, a feather stylus, and a set of 7 colours styluses.

With that many games and every system aside from the Micro registered, I'd be able to get everything I want from their catalogue in Japan. Fucksticks.

Just so we're clear on this: Zeus is pissed off that a company won't give him free shit because he bought their products.

Exactly. It's the discrimiation part that irritates me. Why should the Japs and Aussies get it when we ain't getting but jack and shit? If it wasn't already being given away in Japan and Australia I wouldn't care. But it is and I just want equality.

Nintendo isn't a charity. If Japan and Australia are getting something that North America isn't, it's because they decided it was better for their business.

They're just very Japanese-centric like a lot of companies over there (look at Capcom, they JUST finally saw the US as anything viable with the success of Lost Planet and Dead Rising; why do you think we're getting Bionic Commando?). Until the N64, they hardly knew what America was and still don't really know. Their US arm has to fight them tooth and nail for everything, even now. This is just an extension of that. You don't think the marketing department here wouldn't wet themselves to be able to offer stuff like that to build up the Nintendo brand more?

Don't believe me? Pick up a copy of Game Over and see what Akawara and Lincoln had to go through, even with the success of the original NES here.

I think he's joking or meant to say xenophobic. But then again, xenophobia wouldn't have much to do with exporting your free pieces of cheap swag. If it was the neighbourhood kids getting the toys, I wouldn't care. But in this case, it's the parent favouring one child over another. They already have these things manufactured, all I want them to do is offer me the same thing.

And judging by the subject of this thread, I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Very, but they do get the best stuff that I can find. They have their lull periods, that's for sure.

And while the site has a great supply of game MP3s, it doesn't have everything American. Had to get the Half-Life soundtracks on my own, and can't find other soundtracks like Bioshock, System Shock 2, Splinter Cell, etc.

Bioshock came with the SE version, that's why

Meh. I downloaded the first two. I guess Ubisoft didn't really put out anything for SC except for Amon Tobin's work. Forgot that Bioshock's music was just a bunch of old 50's tunes, though SS2's OST is good D&B stuff.

Bioshock has an orchestral score that you could for a while download from the official website. It was very avant-garde stuff though, and I couldn't listen to it outside of the context of the game.
