They put out a web comic three times a week. I usually read it and it costs me nothing. I'm going to buy their game.

I'm strongly considering getting the game also. It looks fun and their humor usually appeals to me.

It almost has to be kickass or they will hear it from all angles.

Years ago they woulda heard about it just for making a game. People are a little more accepting of such "crossovers" nowadays. I personally would like to see just what the heck they're gonna do with the game.

The preview i read on IGN seems to like it. Nothing innovative or mindblowing, but a funny script, good character creation, and with a simple solid gameplay that is a mix between Chrono Trigger and Paper Mario.
You would def expect to see the little details polished that they complain about so often. I bet you can save anywhere, the character creation looks limitless, and im sure the action is fast paced. Those small details make a difference and i'm sure it will be a solid good RPG/adventure.
First ep is 4-5 hours.

Previews don't mean shit. Previews are meant to talk about how fucking awesome this game is going to be, only to have the review talk about how it sucks donkey balls. Therefore, I don't trust previews if they aren't even going to be honest about it.

I downloaded the demo (on Live) and ended up buying it. Pretty fun so far, I 'm quite liking it.

Ummm...yeah, I'd say so. I mean, you control everything with the mouse, though in battle you have to press the space bar to block, but you can let go of the mouse with that. So long as your careful, you can do it pretty easy with one hand.

howzabout on the 360?

Oh, I dunno. I'm playing it on my PC.

you could manage it.... but it'd certainly be a challenge. The only difficulty would come in the active time battle system when trying to scroll through your characters and select attacks (since you select your attack, special attack, or items command by pressing a specific button: X, Y, or A while scrolling horizontally through your characters)

rent how does it run on the PC? I'm runnin a decent middle end laptop....I can play CoH and CoV with the grahics craned with only a little slowdown....how is this on the smoothness....I'm trying to decide which would be better for me....

My PC is a sluggish beast, but except for brief moments of slowdown (the longest right after the character creation screen) when it's loading battles or during the intro movie, it's really not bad at all. Certainly playable.

I was debating between PC and Xbox... but in the end I picked Xbox cause I wanted to play it on my big HD TV and get achievements
You could play single handed with the Xbox... you just may be sluggish in battle like Bovine said.

I have a five-year-old laptop, and I ran the demo with no problems. Loading it up the first time took a while, but it ran fine during play.
So, actually, just download the demo and try it out on your laptop.

I played the demo of this last night. Seems like a neat take on Mario RPG with some good humour and nice voice acting and cutscenes. But fuck, $20 per episode? If it was $10, I probably would have picked it up.
