Wireless drum kit, guitar, and mic coming for GH4. Looks like the drum kit is even better than the Rock Band one with the two symbol pads. Although I'd love to see how the hell they're gonna have 6 separate "buttons" to hit on screen at once

I'm remaining very skeptical. I didn't like GH3 very much and I liked it even less after playing RB. I'm sure the instruments will be incredibly nice since Red Octane is awesome at that, but I will be very surprised if they manage to make the game itself fun. It's way too much copycat for me. I wish they'd focus on making it an even more solid guitar title.

I know I won't be able to justify repurchasing all of that equipment for a new game anyway. And I'd have nowhere to store 2 drum kits even I did.

The song creator sounds promising for people who have talent in that area though. I figure if the guitar solo from One can be recreated in Mario Paint, anything will probably be possible in this.

Imagine getting the full kits for GH4 and Rock Revolution (from Konami) to go with the Rock Band stuff? You would need a storage unit just for all those instruments...

The song creator don't include lyrics, though. Guess it takes up far too much space. But man, I'm dying for someone to post the details for setting up Thunderstruck (you'd NEVER be able to share that one)

They're saying the lack of vocals is to protect them from copyright issues. That sounds like it's a legitimate reason.

I'm curious to see just how close it will let you get to real songs.
