So, there's some new info on the heroine in the new Resi game. She sounds dull and arbitrary, with a bitter past against terrorism and whatnot.
I dunno why, but this newest Resident Evil game seems to really not particularly fill me with any enthusiasm. It seems to play identical to RE4, and personally, I never liked Chris Redfield that much. I loved RE4 and all that, but it sort of derailed the main storyline of the series with that RETARDED Las Plagas shit. This latest batch has Chris as part of some super squad that fights against bio-terrorism...it just feels as though Umbrella has sort of been forgotten about. I liked them. I liked the zombies. I really did. I hated it when people said this about RE4, and maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic for the crappy gameplay of the originals, but it just sort of feels as though Resident Evil isn't quite...y'know...Resident Evil anymore, y'know? More like Resident Die Hard Rambo Thing.
RE4 is an amazingly fun game though, and if RE5 is anywhere near as good, I'm totally down.
