Wait for the Leipzig Games Convention next month; it's by far the biggest show outside of Japan now.SineSwiper wrote:He could, but the goats.ex domain is down.Eric wrote:That is awesome, can you go into more details.
Also, isn't the point of E3 to bombard people with announcements of games? After all, how is Gears 2 going to steal the thunder of Bungie's game, when there are already announcements of FFXIII on 360, and MS's announcement of the 360 update?
People come there to be stoked for MULTIPLE GAMES! If you just showcase a single announcement, the whole effort is a failure.
Not that big? 503 companies, 15,600 Industry professionals and journalists, with 185,000 total attendance last year. That's compared to a total of about 5000 people at this year's E3.SineSwiper wrote:If I've never heard of it, it's probably not that big.

Because it's in America and it's also a big, spectacular fucking party. There's lots of booth babes and flashing lights and colorful...fucking, colors. That's the only reason--it was the party, and it was also in the U.S., so of course it gets covered.SineSwiper wrote:Seriously, if they are so big, why does E3 get all of the media coverage?
