  • Fanboy vs Fresh Face on MM9

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

New feature by IGN AU. Neat idea, takes an older series getting a new game and has a fan vs someone with little / no interest and has them debate it. They start with MM9

One thing Frash Face didn't get: Capcom has already tried releasing update MM game on the PSP. They failed, that's why they're going completely retro. The MM platformers are hardcore only anyways.

Fresh face knows too much about he video game world. I would have rather had an opinion from someone who had, maybe, never played a mega man game ever. FF is clearly a gamer, which means he has tried the series and didnt like it... his opinion was already formed before he played MM9.

That's because the MM remake in PSP looks like another money grab attempt, though not as transparent as this one.

The exclusivity factor is dead on. There's really no reason for anybody to play this game if they're not already part of the Megaman diehard and that population is shrinking everyday. Further even for exclusivity they don't really pick the good stuff. Even Megaman diehards don't really get that excited about HX/FX/PX/LX forms in ZX/ZXA.

I like Z4's narration of 'what has happened before and why you should care' the best out of all the Megaman games. Pretty much every other game in the series after the first one assumes you're some kind of Megaman veteran who knows everything there is need to know.
