It just goes to show you the priorities of certain censors (and the respective countries they belong to). There is an awful lot of killing in the game (well, in fallouts of old you didn't HAVE to kill people if you had the right skills) and that seems to be alright. I'm sorry, but I can't help but find this hillarious. Is it REALLY that big of a deal that they changed it from morphine to mephaline in order to get the game a rating so they can sell more copies? I mean you cant get much more minor than that.

It's not that the name change is a big deal, it's why it had to occur in the first place.

Sorry, still not seeing it. I agree with you in disliking people who say that the media is to blame for all crime, but to get upset or pissed off over something as stupidly small as this, even if it is happening for a reason like that, is well...stupid.

I think Zeus is upset at the hypocracy of it all... the whole mentality that you can put as much gore and violence in a game as you want, but using the names of real drugs to give the game that more immersive feel and that's going too far mister!

It irritates me, but I won't lose any sleep over it. I think it would have added more to the game if it referenced real world items without having to go all fantasy on me. I dunno, I think more pieces of realism like that would have really helped the game; make it feel like a possible future instead of just total fantasy in another universe.

It is almost as bad as nudity and/or sex in games.

This does go against the premise of the game world as well. I mean, shit, everyone is poor, their is no regulating authority (so to speak). Of course there is going to be rampant drug use.

You also have to look at how bad guys are portrayed in the previous games. They are all dirty fucking drug users abusing power.

Funny: even The Adventures of Tin Tin (a childrens show) dealt with opium usage, drugging, and drug smuggling.
