So how about Gamespot's... errr, IGN's new layout?

Reminds me more of 1up.com then Gamespot.
But it's still a good thing, navigating IGN's site would irritate me, I like the new look.

I personally don't care about videos, I just go for the news. So the old format was far better for me. I find myself just clicking on the "Latest Update" thing right away so I can just sift through what I want

My favourite site is Magicbox, pointform summaries of all the news with all the relevant information. I still go to IGN and Gamespot for their views on games though.

Cant agree more.
I cant watch videos at work, its too obvious you are slacking, lol. An article that i can flip back and forth to for a 5 minute reading break is preferable.

Yeah, there's the work viewing as well, which is where i do 95% of my video game reading anyways. But personally as well, I prefer to read up on a game and only watch very few. If I'm really interested in something, I'll try to read a preview or grab a demo. If not, then I may watch a video. But the main reason I visit these sites is for news. I don't want to have to search for it
