You're assuming Nintendo actually has its finger on the pulse of its fans. If history - and my visits to Nintendo World - has shown anything it's that they have very little understanding of their fanbase and what they like/want. You really can't tell when someone's just spewing off on a company, can you? Did it ever occur to you that this comment was made as a result of MANY years of frustration with the actions of a company which makes a product I really like?
