Most Anticipated

We all have some pretty eclectic tastes around here, so it would be interesting to see your most anticipated games of this holiday season. So, what are they?

I'd say I'm most excited for the following three

1. Fallout 3
2. Animal Crossing (fuck you guys)
3. Left 4 Dead

I hope some of you PC people consider getting L4D for the 360 if just to play it with me.

There are certainly some more that I'm giddy for, but in terms of creams and crops, these are my picks.

I was thinking about making a similar thread given all the shooters that are coming out this month. L4D, GoW2, R2, CoD:WaW (of which I'm only getting L4D).

I had the biggest Game Boners for LBP and Fallout 3. Both have delivered.

Add Dead Space among them. There's probably a few others we've all forgot.

I want to play DS as well, but that's gonna be a rental for me. I'll revisit Chrono Trigger as well, even though I played it a few months ago.

Yeah, I'm excited for deadspace (when I buy it.... because I haven't yet... things costing money and whatnot) and mirror's edge. This is the first time I think that I've ever been excited about an EA game, let alone two of them.

For me:

Gears 2
Rune Factory 2
LBP (I'll be buying it closer to Christmas)
KH:Chain of Memories (PS2 version...I'm a KH whore)

Have you ever played an AC before, bovine? I'd be really excited for that and it'd be on my list of must haves if they looked to be changing the game at all. It just looks like they added online and voice chat and Wiimote controls. I was really hoping for more improvements so I'll be passing on it. But, if you've never played AC before or it's been a long time it's a definite buy.

Of the things that haven't come out yet, for me there's Gears 2 and basically nothing else. We've got some Atlus RPGs coming for the PS2 but most of the anticipated stuff's already come out.

I think Horde mode is going to run my life. That's exactly what I was lookin' for in Gears multi. Couple that with the fact that idiots who charge at you are going to slowed down when they get shot (FINALLY!) and maybe we'll finally see what Gears multi should really be like. No more of this Halo-style run-and-gun bullshit.

Yes, both the Gamecube and DS editions. The games really just take over my life. Sometimes I stay home on saturday nights (not that I really go out alot anyways) just to soak in some KK Slider. I really enjoy the slow pace, the collection of clothes/furniture, and I guess maybe I just get this feeling of "I've gotta go and pay a little off my mortgage today. I used to get up an hour earlier than usual just to play it in the morning and catch some fish, hit my rocks, and shake some trees before I went to work. I am retarded for these games. Add some more clothes and furniture and I'm sold. Multi and voice chat are pure throw aways to me.

So we'll be seeing you on Live? AWESOME!

At this point in time, new updates are being made on AC all the time. It's the collection of little things that will altogether decide the game as a purchase for me or not. I was a huge fan of the previous two versions.

Rune Factory 2 slipped my mind, as did Populous, add those two to my most anticipated list. I already got Dragon Quest 4, have yet to play it, I need to finish off FFCC DS and then Chrono Trigger first.

Yeah, I've been building up my 1-month cards for a while now waiting for something to come along to play online. Got more than enough to carry me through (they expire on June 30, 2009) so I should be at least available to play online through to next summer. I activated my first one on the weekend and played some Carcassone. Honestly, there's nothing else I want to play online until Gears comes out. I may want to try some Bionic Commando just to see how it is, though.

When it goes down in price I'll consider it. With everything that's out right now on the system, ain't no way I'm getting it now.

Besides, is it even online?
