So, we have Star Wars and...um...

Ok, actually, despite my hatred for Tetsuya Nomura and Kingdom Hearts 2 on a whole, I actually think the Versus XIII trailer looks the most interesting of the two. Of course, both are just a regurgitation of CG scenes with absolutely NO actual gameplay shots, so it's all speculation, but the setting in Versus XIII looks pretty cool.

A combination of contemporary modern, dystopian/post apocalypse wasteland, and shiny shiny super-power fights. Judging from the trailer and the title, the whole "Versus" thing is the reason why Emo McHerosan whips out his magical blades of death whenever encountering any seemingly new character in the trailer.

I'm pretty excited for both, though. Will Versus XIII be the breaking point to make me shell out for a PS3? Who knows. Either way, I can get FFXIII on the 360, and that one looks pretty slick.

Meh. Let me know when they're out. No way I'm getting excited over cutscenes.

I haven't been interested in a Final Fantasy since 8... and not seeing anything in 13 that will change that.

I'm more interested in Versus XIII at this point.

Also waiting on gameplay. -_-

FFXIII: Boy or girl. I can't tell.

FFV13: This looks like the better game. I'm sure they'll make an announcement to port this over to 360 at some point. Unless it actually sucks, in which case, they won't.

I only recently realized that in FFX, Lulu's skirt is actually made of many, many belts. Nomura needs to be stopped.

He's Japanese. And shit.

Though, to be fair, when he IS good, he's good. I think FFVIII has a pretty nice aesthetic, as does (old school) FFVII.

The newer versions of FFVII...not so much.

Old school FF7 characters were made out of 5 polygons. Not much to work with there...

The DESIGNS, like you see in the manual.

Also, I thought they were really well-characterized. I'll accept that FFVII has a lot of flaws, but it's still a pretty damn good RPG.
