The Shrine

I'm at EBgames, I see the title Kirby Superstar Ultra on the shelf (only $29.99) and so immediately I go to grab it for purchase. Then I see it on the used games shelf, since I have on me my EBgames card + a 5 dollars off used game coupon, I grabbed that one instead up along with Dragon Quest Swords. When I get home, I take a look at my Kirby game, and it was Kirby ****ing Squeak Squad!





The boxes sort of resemble each other (that's what I keep telling myself), but I REALLY don't know how I messed this one up. Oh well, thank Allah for the 7 day return policy.

I like how they finally took the angry eyes off of kirby. Does he really seem like the angry type?

This sort of happened to me. I got Super Star Ultra, but they had mistaken it for Squeak Squad. TUrns out they were sold out of Super Star, so I ended up with Squeak Squad for a few bucks cheaper.

I liked it though, so it was a fine purchase. Fun game. ^_^

I started playing it myself, it's actually fairly good. I am considering keeping this one and buying Superstar a bit later.

Rent - glad to hear that not only am I not alone in doing this, but that it happened with the same game to someone else =)

Bovine - Maybe Kirby is just pissed off because of the Squeak Squad?

no! the north american box art for all of his games has had him angry, where the Japanese ones have him with his wide, adorable eyes. Apparently they wanted to give an adorable little puff of a thing an edge or something.

To be fair, those Squeaks stole Kirby's shortcake.
