I might, depending on whether or not we can get a good group. Otherwise I'll probably be on SF4 or Persona.

I would buy it just to play with you all, but I'm afraid I would suck horribly just getting the game and waste your time, heh.

Tess, Chris, you in?
Louis - I would STRONGLY suggest you get some practice in before you try Hardcore Horde. But we'd love to have ya there if you really want a trial by fire........lots and lots of fire :-)

Louis I wouldn't recommend buying a game just for this... we only play every month or so. Not worth the $60 tag alone.
I should be able to attend sure... No more Psych anyway

That's 3 of us! Bovine, we need you, dammit! Chris, we could use some comic relief in between the endless swearing. Join us!

Yeah, I wasn't planning on buying this game until the price dropped to around the same as Halo 3 is now ($39.99). I'm not the greatest at FPS games using a dual analog controller.

That's good 'cause this one plays a bit different than an FPS. The first major difference with it being a third-person shooter :-)
Now that I stopped being a prick, the duck-and-cover system makes it play far differently than a standard FPS. So if you're not good at FPSs, it's not a big deal in this game. If anything, you don't have to force yourself to learn how to play it differently so it helps a bit. And hardocre-level Horde will require true co-op kinda like advanced L4D would.
But before you go into hardcore Horde - or multi - I'd suggesting playing the game through on at least Normal with a friend. You need to get used to the system and the intricacies of it before you face some real competition

I've played about halfway through the standard campaign with a friend on co-op. I have the first Gears of War but I haven't really sat down to play it much. And yeah, now that I think about it, is it third and not first. My bad, heh.

The second is just bigger and better. If you like Gears 1 you'll probably love Gears 2
Not to mention it has the second-best co-op mode ever (next to L4D)

Well, you'll obviously never be as good as me with the sniper rifle. Oh, sorry for being so rude. Have you heard how good I am with such a weapon?

I'll hop on tonight at 11pm EST and if we have enough to get a game going, great. If not, I may try to get a 3-player L4D going with Blotus if I can get my bud to join us

Very sorry I missed this. Didn't get home until near 1am. Nobody was on so I lost some Street Fighter matches.
