Why you shouldn't download the GTA4 expansions

For the same price as buying them on XBLA, you can just get a disc that has both of them on it....and you don't even need a copy of GTA4 to play them

http://www.edge-online.com/news/gta-the ... -announced

So not only does actually have transferable value but you don't even need to spend coin on the original game to play it. So you can even sell your original copy of GTA4 to help pay for this if you've already finished the crap out of it and just want to play the expansions.

Not to mention you'll likely be able to get this used within a month or two after release for 20-40% off the price. And once it stops selling they'll discount it too.

I see absolutely zero incentive to downloading these expansions now.

I would prefer to buy them on a disc if they could be transfered to my hdd so I don't have to swap discs.

I agree that I would prefer a physical copy, at the moment I enjoy the advantages of them in electronic form. Especially since I wouldn't want to sell anything out of my collection.

How come I haven't seen sexy pictures of your collection Zeus? I desire to see it to encourage me to expand my own.

That's very cool as my 20GB drive is pretty low on space. I'd much rather use discs.

Buying the disc will allow you to do whatever you want, even putting them on your HD....and it's easier to play since you don't need the GTA4 disc......and you can take them to a friends house and play them......and you can sell them if you're done with them.......I could do this all night. Simply put, there's no conceivable advantage to downloading them aside from having to put the disc into the tray and since you have to put the GTA4 disc in the tray to play the downloaded versions, even that "advantage" is gone.

Do you know what it would be like for me to try and take pictures of my collection? I have a closet in my basement that's about 10 ft long, 3 1/3 ft deep, and 7 ft tall that's nearly stuffed to the brim....and that's not even including the Xbox, PS2, Wii, PSP, DS, 360, or PS3 stuff. Those are either in a 6 1/2 ft tall x 3 ft wide bookshelf or in the TV stand I have. Also have another shelf that's 2/3rds+ full of guides. I guess I could take pictures of the closet and the shelves but to actually take pics of specific things or system collections would be quite a task.

But I do have a listing of nearly everything I own. We just finished the TurboGrafx/CD collection a couple of months ago. I'm still missing the Sega Master, Genesis, CD, 32X, Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, and Jaguar stuff (I haven't categorized my guides either). I currently have 1687 games without those systems (not including the 5 or so I just got and the 10 or so on their way). I know I have over 100 Atari 2600 and pretty sure at least 50+ Genesis. I'm willing to bet I have at least 200-300 in those so I'm definitely approaching 2000 total. It takes a few hours to properly categorize each set as we have to look over each game, give it a rating, and then give details of what's not perfect about it so you can imagine why we haven't finished it yet.

So I could send you a list if you'd like? If others are interested, I could send it to Seraph/Sine and they can post a link to it?
