  • PSP Go Announced

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

This has me very interested. This could be perhaps the most important step in the history of the Industry. As well, it could easily be a step taken a few years too early.

It's downloadable games only so there's a ton of people who it won't appeal to. If they decide to use the memory-stick port for actual games it will help tremendously in its appeal

It just MIGHT be too early, that's the only real concern.

Downloading games exclusively is a great idea regardless. It also cuts out the piracy middle-man...I think.

Great idea for the companies, yes. Not so much for the consumer

It can be done well or it can be done in such a way as to nickel-and-dime people to death.

Personally, I prefer downloaded content to physical at this point, and it is indeed much harder to pirate, at least on a console. I'm not a mobile gamer, though...I never really have been, so I'm not the target market for this little gem.
