MGS for 360
Some crazy mocap controller that isn't a controller (camera/sensor bar)
New Halo (Reach)
L4D 2
Splinter Cell Conviction as a 360 exclusive
Forza
Alan Wake
Last.FM, Facebook, and Twitter on the 360. Some movie and tv stuff too.
I dunno.... nothing that really excited me so far.

That would be the XBox Fluid.
I started working on something like this a year or two ago but I abandoned it. It's actually pretty cool - I could move terrain around on my demo just by pointing at the camera - but it would have taken more than just me to get it working reliably enough for a mainstream application. I would say it may be very likely to be a success; it's kind of gratifying to point at the screen and make stuff happen.

Alan Wake? This game still exists? They should really throw us a bone once in a while. I mean, damn, Max Payne wasn't good enough for us to take you on faith with practically no information since Alan Wake was announced. Still, I guess they're shooting for 2010 so they have plenty of time to dish how awesome (or not) the game is.

What is he promising this time?
"In this game, you can buy nuclear missiles in the game, then like ride them through the dungeon - maybe pick up Elvis along the way. Then kinda have him kidnapped by aliens from Fruloz, but you catch up to them, and feel bored and so we hack up Elvis with our ChainSaw. Then you see another player COOL. So you can, like shoot your friends, and throw pieces of Elvis at him. Then the nuclear missile hits something and blows up and you see these cool graphics and then you get to play again."

Star Wars: The Old Republic had a Cg trailer that was the exact correct amount of the sexy.

That Star Wars trailer. Yowza.
I think that APB actually look a little disappointing. My hype levels for it were at insane levels, though, so it's probably for the best that they've come down to earth a little.

sony motion controller
Team Ico game
PSP Go
nothing surprising.
Oh, but FF7 is on the PSN right now apparently. That's kind of cool.
And FF14 as a PS3 MMO.

The Sony Motion controller looked really good (well, not the shape of it, but its functionality), much more practical and useful than Microsoft's Eyetoy thing; I wonder what sort of support Sony will get for it?
Boo to FF14 being another waste.
PSP Go seems really cool, too bad it didn't have a touch screen though.
The Wii Vitality sensor looks like a medical finger sensor (usually used for checking oxygen levels and such); except I doubt it will cost 400 bucks like one of those (damn our government wastes).
Here is a MUCH better
video for Metroid M

Is it just me, or have good RPGs been really underrepresented in gaming lately?

Yeah, we've only had drudge like Fallout 3, Fable 2, and Mass Effect recently from the US developers and Tales of Vesperia and Devil Summoner 2 among other Jap titles (*SARCASM ALERT*)

Yeah and Dragon Ages looks like it's going to be complete and utter shit, too.
Also - god dammit and them pushing back the PC date to align with the console releases. The one time we get something first they have to fuck it up.
At least they've said that they're actually going to use that time to make the game better.

FF7 is indeed on PSN right now. I was expecting some bloated price like $30 but it is actually only $10! Pretty great deal to be able to play the game on the PS3 or PSP.

Sony's actually been good with the PS1 releases on PSN. Suikoden and others were only $6 and this $10 looks like the premium price for a PS1 game. Really good on their part not too completely goose you and let their publishers have more say in the prices unlike some other companies (stares at Microshaft)

FF7 costing 10 bucks is in line with all other games of that generation. Sin and Punishment was an exception, it cost 11 or 12; but it was because it was the first time it was released outside of Japan.

I was actually commending Sony for making FF7 a "premium" price of $10 which, as you pointed out, is less than the others' premium pricing (such as M$'s pricing of Braid or Penny Arcade or Nintendo's pricing of Jap games). PSN games have generally been cheaper in comparison, like Suikoden and Jumpin' Flash ($7 each if I'm not mistaken which makes them cheaper than SNES games).
Sony has a different model than Nintendo or Microshaft, it's a little more open pricing-wise. Nintendo's is great overall I have to admit. But this is very un-Sony like.

Another announcement that occurred at the Miyamoto roundtable was the release of details on the next Zelda title. It looks like the next step he is taking with the series is to create an RPG with Zelda-Like combat; as well Link is no longer a kid or in his late teens; he's an adult. The game will also use Motion Plus. I wonder if Takahashi or Matsuno is on this project?

Prologue has a lot of cool features in it though. I just finished the C B A tracks and got an unlock of a S tracks and am able to tune the cars I own to my liking. Also unlocked a schweet car too.
Prologue definitely has WAAAAY more content than a demo would ever have. Granted you have 4-5 tracks only, but you have close to 50+ different cars you can buy.
Also, all of the stuff I have saved is transferable to the real game when it comes out.
This is definitely $40 well spent.

Apparently FF14 is also on PC..... and maybe even the 360. Why Sony gotta lie like that?

I haven't turned on my PS3 other than to fiddle with Home the one time since I sold Uncharted. That system is VERY dry for releases, much more so than the Wii. Honestly, it's very little more than an MGS4 adapter to me (which I may play again shortly)
