  • Activision threatens to pull support for PS3/PSP

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Could/would they actually do that? Seems like BS.

Games like Assassin's Creed sold 3.38 mil on the PS3, and 4.5 mil on the X-Box, Prototype is shaping up to similar numbers(Lesser scale)

Guitar Hero: World Tour 1.2 PS3, 1.9 X-Box

Modern Warfare, 7.47 Million X-Box, 4.34 Million PS3

World at War, 5.57 Million X-Box, 3.3 Million PS3.

Even if the games lag behind the X-Box's those are some pretty huge numbers for them to ignore completely, sales are sales.

Activision's CEO is a too. He's just reminding Sony again that they ought to drop the price. There's no way they'd actually pull support.

I doubt he'd actually pull support completely, he's still obviously making money on some games. But they may stick to just some of the big franchises (ie. Creed, Guitar Hero) and not even bother with ports of some of other stuff like a lot of other companies are doing

Yes it is. Our mistake.

BTW, that one apparently has a team of 450 people working on it.....why?

You can't just make games based on your larger, established franchises. You have to release newer IPs to survive. Activision does it like anyone else. I think it's those games just won't appear on the PS3 / PSP
