You heard it here first, folks!

I played it twice on the PS3. Going to play it on the 360 to see which I prefer and if there are any noticeable graphical differences.

The game is great though. The fighting is nice and flows with just a couple buttons. The takedowns are fun. And I love the slow-mo when Batman takes out a baddie. Zipping from perch to perch is really easy and you can do it very fast to escape if guys gang up on you with guns. I can't wait to see how they use more of his gadgets and stuff. I think that the Detective mode (something like X-Ray vision) works really well.

I've had the special batarang edition ordered for a while. mainly because the only other batarang thing that I have statue wise is the same price as that woud be so hey....free game with cool packaging. yeah it's 90 but it's a good fucking batgame

For some reason, my wife convinced me to get the midnight release. "But, there will be swag. You can go there at 10PM and pick it up." Nope, just the game, and I had to wait around until midnight. Good conversations with some people there, but I got to go to work tomorrow. Hell, I'm not even going to play the game until I'm completely done with Shadow Complex.

In my defense the midnight release of GTA had a lot more going on, and I did that one. They were giving away swag to the people waiting and it was a big deal.

They were advertising a big to do with the game release from 10-12am, so I figured it would be about the same caliber. I would have gone myself but I cant stand around that long without passing out!

such a good damn game. it really is. I'mm just shocked to see it be steeped in lore. Fighint classic villains, Finding the tapes is the best part. The riddler interviews are great. Mark Hammil is evil but hell. there are a lot of subtle references to things that make me geek out that other people will just find as cool background noise. Like Jack Ryder having a radio show that comes on at one point. YAY! It's the creeper.
