Did anyone notice speed gains after the latest 360 update?

Swear after I installed a new update today (hadn't played in a week or two), sprite drawing and 2D draws in general on my 360 are like twice as smooth.

I've only played Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and I didn't notice anything
