It is a Wii game by Vanillaware. You know, those fellows who made Odin Sphere on the PS2.
Well, this game is not as jarringly beautiful as Odin Sphere was, but probably only because I played Odin Sphere before and thus was set up for this experience. It is the kind of game that I like to see, so I found it as just PURE eye candy the entire time, even when I was seeing locals over and over.
I have beaten the game with both characters and just wanted to tell you guys a little about it.
It is not a great game. However, it is worth having in your library.... maybe at a reduced price. I'll just tell you that the controls were a little weird with up being jump, and the combat and RPGness is supersupersuper simplified down to nothing. You basically get more powerful and so do the enemies... no new moves outside of the single special move your weapon does changes when you change weapons.
I will not bore you or gush over this like the (AMAZINGLY DESERVING) Dead Space, so look at this here vidya review.
