an odd title for this news... yes Bungie helped push sales with ODST, but as the article indicates there were a lot of factors that nearly doubled Xbox's income this quarter (from last year). Quite impressive, since as they mention Xbox used to be a consistent loss in Microsoft's book. Also shows strong evidence that DLC is quite popular too.

Yeah, I would imagine the 50% increase in XBL revenue is due mostly to increased DLC downloading and, to a smaller extent, subscription revenue. DLC is certainly become more and more popular each year. I'm interested to see how this will affect Sony and Nintendo's numbers in the coming years. That will go a long way into shaping the design of future home consoles

I hope to hell you mean there's isn't a consistent string of them coming, as in 3 a week.

I haven't checked my XBox in a few weeks, but the games that have come out don't seem like much. Last XBLA game I bought was Shadow Complex, which was a few months ago.
Maybe I'll check today if anything else is out there.
