  • Rock Band Network is GO?

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

So if you are pretty much the biggest loser ever and have not heard of the rock band network, let me impart some knowledge on you. Rock Band Network is a peer reviewed, user submitted way for artists to get their music on to rock band. Where previously the process had the onus on Harmonix, now people with their own master tracks can make their own rock band song and submit it for peer review, and maybe one day get their song up and make some money maybe.

Well, apparently this thing is up/going up/something today according to this billboard article linked within a destructoid post.

Article is here

The article claims there to be around 100 songs dropping today. This may or may not excite you. NEWS!

Awesome! I've been waiting for it.

I actually know some people who are in bands and are going to put up some stuff.

If I can't download any game at any time for any price (including free; it's their choice) that the artists wanna charge, I don't care. I don't want another LBP level approval process system in place

Oh, man, I want that. I loved the Midnight Riders from Left 4 Dead 2. I know they made a couple of full-length songs to put on the viral website, but this rules. Is this a fan-made one or was Valve cool enough to actually include yet another one of their songs as a promo d'load in Rock Band? (I like the Still Alive RB version, it's fun)
