Star Tropics

I've been playing this game on the Wii Virtual Console and I love it. I always intended to play it back in the day as I heard it was good but I never got around to it. I'm currently in the final level--just about to beat the game.
Gameplay: Excellent. It's hard but not MegaMan 9 hard. You're limited in movement to U/D/L/R and attacking with a yo-yo but they do a masterful job of making it challenging and fun. Most of the game takes place in Zelda-esque dungeons. I never really get too pissed off at the game (which is something that happens too often with me). I even accidentally erased my game at about 60% through. Normally this would have pissed me off enough to give up on the game but I gladly played through it again.
Graphics: Think a little better than the original Zelda. Mostly tropical scenery and dungeons.
Music: Cheezy chipset music but surprisingly catchy, never annoying.
Anyone else play this gem on the original NES or the Virtual Console? If not you can DL it for only $5 (or get the ROM if you haven't got scruples). I'm sure it's been released over other platforms as well. There was even a sequel but I hear that it wasn't as good.
