If you can only have one system, I still think the DS is it. So much variety and such an amazing selection of games. You can probably get a used one for about $60 or so US. I know I can get one up here on Kijiji for about $70. With the R4, you can still enjoy so much even if you're a poor student, too

OK I'm a bit further in and it's remaning very interesting. Keep in mind that this is a dungeon crawl. The engine for exploration reminds me somewhat of the one they used for Etridian Oddessy. At the point where I am at I am defidently starting to see the diffrences between the allignments forming, I cant wait to see how the story keeps playing out.

Wow. Yeah this is DEFIDENTLY a core series Tensei game. I would say that if you found the Persona games difficult you will likely find this one a bit excessive on the difficulty level. I am in the third sector and about level 26 and I am already getting hit with enemies that can cast hama/mudo/mahama/mamudo and potentially one shot your main character, and if he goes down its battle lost. Makes me scared to think how early nasty ones like mahamon and mamudoon are going to be in the game. Demon negotiation is a prickly buisness like it was in SMTIII Nocturne however in this one allignment plays into factor again. You can fall into Law/Neutral/Chaos allignments and the demons do as well. If you are Neutral, a Law or Chaos demon is not going to be as willing to cooperate with you in negotiaion. Of course if you are Law or Chaos they are likely going to attack you just for trying to talk to them if they are the opposite allignment. I am going to attempt to stay neutral as that is generally the ending I go for first. The way things are shaping up it looks like the Chaos path will eventually put you into conflict with YHVH which is of course going to be an insane boss fight. I'll keep you guys updated on this great one.
