Synopsis:

If you have a Halo ODST disc, the halo reach beta started and you can play it now.

So far I cannot even load into a game, I get into the matchmaking menu and it just says "loading" and the option to start matchmaking is greyed out. So if you want to know how fun it is, I cannot tell you.

Oh, I got in about 10 minutes after I posted that and played a couple rounds. For those who are not paying attention, here are the changes:

- new graphics engine
- big size difference and ability difference between the elites and spartans
- changes both appearance wise and functionally
- new weapons (covenant needler rifle, single shot human rifle)
- class based-ish
- 4 abilities (jetpack, invisibility, sprint, and limited invulnerability)
- covenant get a roll/dodge ability
- grenade damage and throw difference
- new game modes
- some cool matchmaking changes to the already legendary halo matchmaking
