So that completes the PS1 era trifecta of FF7,8, and 9 making its way to being downloadable. FF9 is the only early era FF game (FF1,4,6,7,8,9) i never fully beat so i have no problem paying the 10 bucks for it to be on my PSP.

I think FF7 is still $15 cuz they know its more popular and like to rip you off.

FF9 is easily the best of the PSX ones and really should have been FF7 in the way that it ties to the first 6. It's a great game and easily worth the $10

Sony doesn't rip people off, they provide better value due to their name. It's one of the rules of all electronics :-)

I really want them to put Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve 2 up on PSN. I really enjoyed PE.

They still need to put Crisis Core and FFT:WotL on PSN. But FF9 will keep my PSP busy for now. I really like the game, but had forgotten how slow the battle system is. Even when the battle speed is set to high, the input to action time for a character can be 30 seconds or more (while other characters and enemies slowly animate).

With Parasite Eve 3 announced and coming, that should be a real possibility

Ugh, yeah i agree. Im about 6 hours in and am having a great time with it, but the battles do crawl. I think they ATB thing is busted too because monsters are getting way more turns per my characters than i remember. Gizamaluke is kicking my ass so i had to stop and level up, but im still unsure if i will be able to beat him... gonna try tonight, again.

EDIT: i realized i need to gear up, so ill walk back to town and upgrade my crap. How long has it been since i played a classic RPG, haha, i suck.

Not me. My sealed one's gotta be approaching $300 on Ebay by now. Toss in the guide and I'll probably get over $350. They release it on PSN and that goes down to half, easy.

Thing is, they released a Suikoden 1 and 2 compilation for the PSP in Japan. I have no idea why they didn't bring it here

I believe the justification was that it didn't sell well enough in Japan to warrant releasing it here.

But fuck your sealed copy I want it on PSN now!
