Microsoft confused about CoD:BO release date

Call of Duty: Black Ops is set to be released on November 9th, 2010. In America, that's 11/9/2010.
In Canada, the day precedes the month in this sequence, so it's 9/11/2010.
Somebody at Microsoft Canada is confused, as this email details:
I thought something was up when I got a text saying "new COD this weekend!", knowing that games are never released on Saturdays, and shooters most definitely not on 9-fucking-11.
