Please note: I do not play run-and-gun multiplayer, so my impressions are of the single-player modes only.
Just beat this game and I have to say, it's not nearly as bad as people say it is. It's actually a very good version of Call of Duty 4. It's biggest problem is that it's TOO similar to the original Modern Warfare, especially the first 3 or 4 missions. This game never even attempts to hide the fact it's copying CoD. But the second half of the missions don't have the "sameness" feel and I really thought it ended well. As for length, I'd say it's pretty on-par with the other FPSs out there. About 6 hours for a run-through. My cuzs and I beat Halo 3 on Legendary in a little under 9 and this game's a helluva lot easier. I beat it on hard and other than a couple of spots which took me 6 or 7 times to get through, I only ever died when I was careless/lazy. Challenging this game is not but it's a pretty enjoyable CoD rip-off. Maybe not worth the full price but certainly a fun run-through for half price. Certainly worth your time and a decent buy for the right price.
