Jacked up and good to go! I'm expecting great things, because the first Dead Space was delightfully enjoyable.

Definitely not a bad game. The difficulty was a bit more substantial this time. I did not enjoy then they wrestled control away from you, but this was a really great experience. Bovine recommends.

Awesome game, it's what I wish Resident Evil still was, actual survival horror, and not an action adventure shoot fest with your co-op buddy.

That whole "your mom will hate it" advertising blitz actually made me decide not to buy it. Nothing like being reminded yer too old for videogames, lol.

I saw those commercials and thought that was a weird angle to take. Do we really want to further feed the trolls that video games are bad for you and evil to society?

Now now, if we avoided all good games with awful advertising I'm sure a few gems would have been lost along the way.

I just think it's extremely bad taste to market the game based on 'your mom hating it', when it is a Mature rated game.

Too bad the ESRB has literally zero teeth.

I guess I was the only one who thought those commercials were kinda clever, huh? I love the mothers' faces when they're looking at the gameplay footage. You can actually see much more of that if you go to the website

Some interesting DLC came out for this. A couple of single player chapters with you playing as a gentleman from the previously wii-only title "Dead Space: Extraction". The DLC was pretty tough, actually, but was pretty neat for anyone who wanted more dead space (I = their target market).

The ESRB has no control over bad advertising. It's not the MPAA, mind you.

Dead Space 1 & 2 are on sale on steam for $5 apiece. You would be literally insane to not purchase. Literally insane.
