About a couple of weeks ago (article on 1up was Feb 9), Nintendo release a pretty nice new Club Nintendo reward: a replica of the original Game and Watch game called Ball. It costs 1200 points, which is quite a bit (you get 50 points per Wii game or 30 per DS game, so that means you'd have to spend in the neighbourhood of $1200 to get that many points), but it is a functioning portable game

uhhh I don't think I've spent $1200 on video games in general in the past 5 years let alone just Nintendo games

lol, most wouldn't. But there are other ways you can acquire the points, like, say, nabbing them from people who don't use them. I have about 4600 points in reserve I can get if I complete a helluva lot of surveys and I can promise you I haven't purchased enough new, Nintendo-published games for the Wii or DS to get the two Game and Watch games I already got plus that.

Yeah I pretty much have the points on standby myself am planning to get it.
