So this hits the PSP next tuesday. I'm really sad about it coming out on the PSP instead of the PS3 just like Valkyria Chronicles 2 going to the PSP. Seriously guys, if you are going to start a series on a home console don't move the sequels to the hand helds.

I hope PSN releases Parasite Eve 1 and 2 also. I heard a rumor on Kotaku that they were going to do this.

Parasite Eve 1 has been available on the PSN for about a month now. Not sure when/if #2 is coming.

And although I agree with you in principle, I would rather see a sequel on the PSP than no sequel at all. That was certainly the case with Parasite Eve, which has been dormant for a good decade now, and I believe Valkyria didn't exactly sell well. That's why it's seen 2 sequels on the PSP (we only got the first so far)

Just downloaded PE last night. I guess I checked the store about a month ago and it wasn't on there.

Well remember Handhelds are more popular in Japan right now, so it's not surprising to see these types of games getting sequels on the PSP or DS.

This is true. Japanese gamers are mostly on-the-go and both titles are pretty popular in Japan more than they are here so that could have been a huge deciding factor if it was going to the console or the portable.

Just got to day 3 in PE. Fuck this game is difficult, Aya moves so damn slow, TAKE OFF THE HEELS GIRL, GET SOME SHOCKS!

It's good they're releasing it. It's quite difficult to find a copy of that game around. It came out the year the PS2 was coming and it was a secondary title for Square that year. Just not that many copies floating around and the fans keep a hold of them

Yeah I remember that. The trailer for 3rd Birthday looks pretty neat.
