I've been on a PC gaming kick the past few months... haven't touched the Xbox much lately. If I'm gaming though it's either on Steam or XBL so I should be easy to find. I miss our Black Ops sessions with Kim but there hasn't been much out for Xbox lately to play like that, has there?

No kidding. Unless there's an upcoming hit that I know absolutely nothing about I don't think there's one 360 game I'm interesting in pre-ordering that comes out for the next several months and the last one I bought full price was Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Last fall. Jesus...

I haven't even played much of Brotherhood... I think Bovine and I played more multiplayer in that game than I did single player.

Any PC / Steam games we could all jump into? I'd be willing to purchase Magicka if there were others to play with... maybe even get Kim to join (big maybe, she's not that into fantasy games). Open to other suggestions too

Considering all the cross-platform games I may get will all be on PS3 (Portal 2, Duke), the only game I can even think of that's been announced this year that I'll get for the 360 is Gears 3

You do realize that my PS3 copy comes with the following, yes? (see this link for proof):

- a Steamworks account, which allows me to play against people with the PC version
- the ability to play online for free (unlike the unlucky Xbox people)
- a free copy of the PC game to download from Steam (they call it "Steam Play"; I believe that means you have to be logged into one account on one PC, but not sure)
- link to your Steam friends, so you can chat with them as well

It's almost silly NOT to get the PS3 version if you own a PS3, it really is the definitive version of the game.

I also have a free demo to the Duke game that came with my Borderlands GotYE. I have to admit that I'm probably excited more about the idea and the trailer, but I am gonna give it a shot. I want to like it but obviously after 13 years, I need to be convinced. I get a free chance to find out. BTW, did you guys see the YouTube trailer where they announced the game was delayed 'til June (from May, about 6 weeks)? It was great

Certainly a worthy thing to support in a day of more and more powerful sodomy being thrust upon the consumer... Still, I'd end up playing the free PC version if I did get the PS3 version since any updates will be seen the second they're available. And first person shooters are vastly superior with a mouse and keyboard. Auto aim is an abomination.

As for something that we could all play together I don't see anything good that a bunch of us can play at once coming out until Dungeon Siege 3 in (possibly) May
