Canadians, time to take advantage of EB's idiocy.......again

EB is so stupid sometimes, it would be comical if it wasn't so sad.
Just recently (last week I believe), EB (in Canada, at least) reset their used game prices. They do this a few times a year depending on their inventory. Usually, it's to give you $2 instead of $10 for a game they sell for $45 but occasionally, they decide they need more used stock and they raise the prices. What they tend to do is go back to "old reliable" games that have been up there in the past, dropped once, then re-raised 'cause I supposed they sell well.
How does that help you? You still have a copy of Burnout Revenge, Mass Effect 1 (not 2), or Need for Speed Most Wanted for 360 hanging around? How's about Excitebots or Tales of Symphonia for Wii? Or X-Men Wolverine: Uncaged Edition for PS3? Or either copy of the original Arkham Asylum? Well, all of those are worth $8 or more in trade now (get a full list at http://www.tivs.ca ; make sure you look at the date the price was updated, it has to be within the last couple of weeks to be relevant and you should still call before you go in just to make sure it didn't change). What that means is you can use any of those games towards a trade 3 game (right now, Duke Nukem and LA Noire are part of the trade 3 deal) and get $20 for it. In non-EB stores, a lot of these games are selling for about $10-15 so you can even buy them and trade them in. Or use Kijiji
Have 4 of them and wanna update your ancient 360 which still works but you know will die soon? Another deal they have going is if you trade in your current 360 system with the cables and one controller (you can keep your HDD), you can get $100 towards another system. Remember the old-model 250GB ones (the Forza bundle w/ two controllers and Forza or the Modern Warfare 2 specially designed one with the game and two controllers)? Well, they're selling for $200 brand new right now. I was able to trade in my 20GB Halo 3 system and 4 games that cost me a grand total of $36 for the 250GB Call of Duty one. So not only did I update my 3 year-old system to a brand new one, I also got a game and an extra controller that I will likely sell for more than $36. I also got to keep the old HDD so I can transfer over at my leisure using a USB drive. And I can call into Live and get the warranty on my system. Sure, it's the old model, but I'm getting paid to update to one 3 years newer. Good deal.
These scenarios tend to only last a week or two so if you're interested, I'd get on it this week.
