I downloaded the update and then tried to sign in and it told me there was maintenance still.

PSP users can also select TWO from the following list:

Just tried it myself. Same thing. I downloaded the update and then when I tried to sign in, it's like nothing changed

Sometimes I can log in and sometimes I can't. I could get in on Sunday morning, then I couldn't Sunday evening, and then I could again after midnight.
