I got screwed out of one of my freebies. I clicked on the "Free Game 1" option, then "Get Now". Once I did that, it came up with an error code and sent me back to the Welcome Back menu. A couple seconds later, my "Free Game 1" option disappeared without me downloading anything. Figures. I really wanted to play Super Stardust HD, too

Unless I am missing something, Infamous and Little Big Planet are the obvious choices;
Any reason for someone without any of these to get anything else?

Happened to me too. And I want Wipeout HD. I'd rather have an easy-to-get-into-visually-impressive racer than the other games.

I wrote into PSN support last night about it. Once I find out what their solution is, I'll let you know. It may just be a freebie, but it's our freebie, dammit. I don't NEED to play Super Stardust, but if I can for nothing other than a couple of emails, why not?
Also, there are some additional "Special Offers" on the PSN this week. Nothing really to write home about, unfortunately. But Shift Unleashed is only $1. It's a pretty neat game and a good waste of a couple of hours.

I couldnt log into the PS Store on my PSP, it gave me some URL to go to on the computer to change my password. So, i tried going there on the computer and i get:
"Site Maintenance Notice
The server is currently down for maintenance.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later."
This is annoying.
EDIT: Are these the same free games they gave away earlier? Can i still get those? I am owed like 4 games or something.

My advise for you guys is to get these games @ night around 3AM
And yeah Seek, Little Big Planet & Infamous are the 2 obvious choices.
I got Dead Nation myself, because I already own Infamous.

I picked up super stardust and infamous.... as I own all games other than stardust, at least I won't have to grab the disc to play infamous anymore...?
I HIGHLY recommend Wipeout. Littlebig planet is charming and all, but I have racked up way more hours in wipeout than in LBP. My advise is to just wait until LBP 2 goes down in price instead of grabbing the first one as a freebie.
I am not too jazzed about the PSP titles, but I picked up killzone and pursuit force.
Also, this is the first time they have given out these free games, you are owed no additional games.
Additional also - I just jammed through the store yesterday to grab theses, error messages be damned.

Me too, on both of the PS3 games. Looked them up (DN and SSDHD) and they still had prices attached to them. Lame. I did get the PSP games though, even though it's unlikely I'll ever even play em.

Err, Just to make sure, you guys did go to the Welcome back tab on the store and select it via that for your free games right? Like the menu you get the games from shouldn't have any price attached to it, it should just say "download" and offer it to you after you select the coupon for free games.

I did, yes. My beef is that the "Free Game 1" button from the Welcome Back menu disappeared

Ok I did some digging for you guys.
From the main menu go to PlayStation Network > Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List > SCEA Promotions > Game 1(or 2) > Select Content to get your game, if the store bugged for you.

Ah, that's where their version of the Download History is. Thanks Eric. Now let's see how long it takes for them to email me back... ;-)
BTW, anyone know until when we have to sign up for the 1 month of PSN Plus? Ain't nothin' good enough right now. I'd rather wait for the last second and see if anything pops up a week or two after when they bring out some good deals to try to convince people to stay.
BTW, Sony, those motherless fucks, took away the PSN Plus discount for all of the PS1 import games. They WERE on for $3 for PSN Plus members but not now. Well, their loss. I probably woulda picked up 2 or 3 of them at $3 but not now, not after they didn't even have the courtesy to give us a reach around.
