Alright, this might be old news, but this game is fucking wicked! Really funny story and fun to play. I never thought I would be using a sliding air launcher in a fucking FPS! Slide, kick, leash, push into a firepit. All on one guy.

This game is pretty old school too with the way they made the gameplay.

Awesome, i'll need to check it out. I was looking, just the other day, for something to waste time while waiting for Diablo 3... i ended up installing Half-Life Source.

Steam has had some pretty insane deals on it, Flip. Next sale will likely have it at $5

It sounds like everything Duke Nukem was supposed to be, Spike Spiegel, the new Duke?
For $20 its probably worth a pickup this weekend, when I'll inevitably need something to do, I hate waiting around for sales, I'm such a 'give it to me NOW' kind of guy when I have my mind made up on a product.

Which one, Duke or Bulletstorm?
I had a little fun with the demo of Bulletstorm but for some reason, was disinterested by the time it came out. The relatively good reviews didn't seem to renew my interest in it. I think of getting it now and then since it's around $10-15...maybe soon

Bulletstorm.
It is a decent sub $20 game, but it has really flat characters and a terrible story (not that you look for those in a game like this) and he meat of the game - the combat - gets repetitive and old pretty fast. It is neat conceptually, but you just start doing the same thing over and over again once you hit the first third of the game.

I wouldn't say the characters are completely flat, just predictable. The dialogue is still pretty funny.

Oh I'm still with you on this topic, it was just the most obvious example.

Almost done with it. Still a fun game. The last weapon (big spike shooter) is definitely my favorite, though. I gained a shitton of points hitting those big red mutants running down a straight line naturally towards me. Basically just wait for them to get close, shoot a spike, and watch it tag 4-5 guys at the same time. Got my 2000pt achievement that way.
It's funny just how much ledway you get to make skillshots. You get so used to it that when you actually get into a really hard fight that takes that ledway away, it takes you a while to realize that the reason why you are dying so damn much is that you're standing around getting shot by 5 guys, just so that you can shoot this dead guy in the head to release some toxic gas and kick one of those Nom parasites to some dude's head and get a triple skillshot bonus. I mean it's a decently hard game and you die a lot, but it's not because it's difficult, but because YOU'RE making it difficult.
Of course, if you spent the whole game just running and gunning with the same shit over and over again, it wouldn't be as fun.
