That's hilarious, restricted to started edition for 3 days for a digital purchase.
People wonder why steam is so successful when the competition is so inept. -_-

Why would you want to get a digital copy again? Same price, less functionality.....stuipid

Physical media is for old farts.
I liked having the pre-load available so i could play Day 1. Granted that doesnt mean much now, but at the same time i dont need 800 CD's floating around my house, too. To be honest, i realized the other day when i was installing a new Quickbooks via CD that this might be the first time in like year that i stuck a CD into my computer.

The one and only reason for these measures is the real money auction house. They toss in a couple other reasons in their explanation, but those are after-thoughts.

I guess they figure if I robbed someone for a million dollars I wouldn't be able to use my illegal money to buy Diablo 3 for 3 days that'd totally stop me from doing whatever evil plans I have for buying a copy of Diablo 3.
