Microsoft press conference is about to conclude, and they did a damn better job then last year.

Crackdown, a Platinum Games Exclusive(with Dante basically), KI Season 2, Halo Anniversary.

I really want to see more regarding Cyberpunk 2077. I haven't been able to find out anything new for the longest time.

I imagine you'll see/hear more about that after they finish The Witcher 3, only 9 months to go!

No release date, or even release year, 2015? Or early 2016. Looks like they took a cue from glorious Skyrim.

And what's an E3 without a kick-ass Metal Gear trailer:

Yeah, that trailer was basically just a fancy commercial. Not that Cyberpunk sounds like it'll be bad, but they're probably still in very early/conceptualizing phases of development. I wouldn't expect a meaty preview for a while now. Considering how many years these people put into their games, it could very well be 2017 by the time we see it.

God I want Witcher 3. CD Projekt Red definitely still have me pre-ordering their shit. Witcher 1 was like a magical experience to play and the sequel was very satisfying but somewhat clunky one what was at the time barely minimum specs.. The combat was a bit of a barrier for getting into it when I upgraded, oh well. Still, I can't wait to see the conclusion. And the setting basically begs for open world exploration.

Besides Nintendo, did anybody else really show anything? Jimquistion did a good episode on how little gameplay existed in the whole conference.

Other than a 2015 title (Metal Gear 5)? Nope, not since Destiny, the only real, serious new IP anyone should care about, is coming for EVERYTHING. Other than that, it's the same games I've been playing every year and wasn't gonna get last year until I got them for $2.50 each (Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield). Sure, you have a bunch of smaller titles (NIS America is killing me) that you can grab (Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix, etc) but as for big-named titles? It's really Destiny and Smash Bros that are the prospective system sellers (with Mario Kart 8 as a ridiculous evergreen title).

I mean seriously, 2 of top 5 games coming for the PS4 this winter are remastered versions of last years' big titles (Last of Us and GTA5). It's a slow year for the "next gen" (since you don't include the Wii U in there). Works for me. Don't need to worry about a PS4 until next year when MGS 5 comes out.

I'm still waiting for a Steambox and am perfectly content with PC gaming right now.

There's lots of decent indie stuff on both consoles and PC, too. Citizens of Earth looks like a must-get for me. And I honestly can't keep up with all my PS Plus games, so I won't be hurting. It's just kind of a disappointing lineup for the next gens this year as EVERYTHING is coming in 2015. Even Witcher 3 is 1st quarter of 2015
