We know it ain't Sine and Don. But the rest of you, anyone?
Also, a pretty good summary of the first two years of the Wii U. I agree with them pretty well on this (and no, it's not an article praising the hell out of them)
Waiting on reviews to tell me if the netcode is good or not.

If it's anything like the 3DS's version the netcode can be hit and miss...

No plans for it until next year at least. As far as multiplayer games go, Mario Kart 8's new DLC is probably my biggest interest; getting Smash now would just take a back seat to that.

I played 8 player local multiplayer at lunch on 60 inch screen. Quite a lot of fun! We're probably going to make a Friday thing out of it.
Maybe I will pick it up, although I don't know how often I would play my own copy online/single player.

I haven't read any myself which mention the online, but you may find one
I trust Max when it comes to online netcode for fighting games. Seems like it functions pretty well.

Picked my copy up the other day. Not sure how much time I'll spend on it right away, as I still have a lot to do in Hyrule Warriors.

he seems to think that it's as good as it gets, really, and was quite shocked by that fact. That's a good thing and likely due to Namco's experience

I picked up Smash Brothers Wii U, and I felt totally lost in the interface for a little bit.
The game itself is fun to play multiplayer, but the single player seems to be a bunch of smaller game modes instead of one big awesome Platformer game like Brawl.
Multiplayer works well enough, but I really hate how the game lacks the ease of just dropping in with friends like MK8 has. It is frustrating to see your friends showing up as playing the game then hearing that buzz indicating you can't join their game when you click on it. Mario Kart 8's online is vastly superior because of that.
Overall, so far, I definitely enjoyed Brawl a lot more. The big single player advebture in Brawl is the single greatest thing in the franchise.
