Shadow of Destiny is a very good game. Rent it. Buy it. Either way, you'll most likely enjoy it.

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS", Modern; text-align: left; '>I bought the game for my girlfriend. I said I'd show her how to play and 4 hours later, I was still playing. This game is sweet.
Gameplay is new to me. Never played anything like it before. It's like a story game. No action required except to pick up things or talk to people.
Have no idea what the game is about?
Well, the main character is murdered while taking a walk by himself at the beginning of the game, at precisely 2:30pm. He's sent to what looks to be purgatory and this voice offers him a chance to go back in time to prevent his death. He takes that chance. He's sent back at 2:00pm. Now he has to prevent his death.
How? Well...there are characters walking around the village(though few for a village with so many buildings). Talk to them get them to meet somewhere at 2:30pm. Whatever it takes, you can't be alone. A back stabbing murderer won't take a chance to attack while there are people there who can stop him. Even if you do prevent your murder, you still have to prevent your destiny from being murdered. And how? Well, you have to uncover the source of your fate. Avoiding your murder only postpones it.
That's how the game is. I loved it. There are 5 to 7 endings with different paths in each, depending on how you answer questions or change the future.
Each game can be finished in about 3 hours on your first time out. After that, it may be 2 hours. It's perfect for people who aren't into video games but are into mystery. And since this game need no gaming skill, all it takes is moving the character around. The game will take its course.</div>
