<div style='font: 9pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>I went around Narita during my 4 hour layover in Japan. When it was getting to close to my departure flight, I stumbled upon this small videogame store. They had a Gameboy Advance for 9800 yen(excluding tax) and games for 2500 to 2700 yen. I only had 9000 in my wallet and the guy wouldn't accept credit cards. Though the nearest ATM was only 5 min away, I didn't have the time to get the money end buy it, especially since the lines at the airport are pretty damn long.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Not really. Nintendo isn't implementing any foreign lockout devices for the GBA or GC.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Of course, I'll have to wait for English versions of text heavy games. C'mon Tactics Ogre...</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "Arial bold", Modern; text-align: left; '>Man, I was THIS close to getting a free Gameboy Advanced. Nintendo was giving out the US ones for FREE every 10 minutes. You had a 1 in 13 chance of winning it. It was nuts.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Totally wrong. You can buy the imports of most of the games much earlier, and very few require reading anything. Then ya buy the text-heavy games like RPG's or Zeldas in America and play them ON the import system.</div>
