You think there are people who didn't learn a lesson from the soul-crushingly painful forays the previous games were?

Actually Twisted Metal 2 is still insanely fun to play.

<div style='font: 9pt arial; text-align: justify; '>It was only after 989 Studios took over for the third and fourth installments that the series began to suck. The original team behind the second game created TMB, if I'm not mistaken. If not, then a reasonable facsimile must have taken over, because I thought the game was pretty damn fun.

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Well yah. If they went back to the original dev-team, then there's no doubt TMB could turn out well.</div>

I have it.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>It is definently one of the ps2's best games. Very dark and disturbing imagery is mixed with fast paced gameplay to make what is probably the best TM yet. Very similar in play mechanics to part 2. It is make by the original team that made the first two twisted metal games.</div>

<div style='font: 14pt Plakatbau; text-align: left; '>I suppose. Those games aren't bad, and they're pretty much all the same. My beef was with the 'hardcore' character designs of TM, though.</div>

<div style='font: 14pt Plakatbau; text-align: left; '>It's sub-comic book visagery. That was the intention, but I got the distinct feeling someone wanted them to be 'cool'.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>More "dark" than "cool"... especially in TMB. It's pretty twisted. A nice change from all the Banjo Kazooies and such out there.</div>

<div style='font: bold 12pt "Comic Sans MS"; text-align: left; '>Where in the prison passage level? Is it like and icon or do you just have to beat it? Im trying to beat it with everyone on easy, or do I have to go on a higher diff?</div>

Ok... I would explain it all... but it's complicated.  Go to http://codes.ign.com/ and they will have it there.  Here are some tips...

<div style='font: 14pt Draconwick; text-align: left; '>When it says you need to shoot the boxes to make a ramp it's wrong. You need to drive in the water and ramp up the side onto the boxes. You'll figure out what I mean when you try it.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>....Do you mean to get Manslaughter? Because you do shoot the boxes for that, and it does make a ramp (from which you shoot the hull of the ship).</div>

<div style='font: 14pt Draconwick; text-align: left; '>You know what happened when I shot the boxes? There was nothing there... so I had to improvise.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>You must have been shooting the wrong boxes.</div>

Nope, they were the right ones... just no ramp.  We shot the boxes and didn't get a ramp so then...

<div style='font: 14pt Draconwick; text-align: left; '>we kept hitting the side of the ship with gas cans and it opened up. Had to restart the level and somehow get on the boxes and that's how we did it.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>Look... there's no point in arguing here. You WERE shooting the wrong crates if it didn't make a ramp for you. I don't think your copy was the exception. The crates by the hull (there's two of them, I believe). The one furthest from the ship blows up and creates a ramp. Try it again. Case closed.</div>
