  • Mario Kart Advance, impressions inside

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Well, I saw the screenshots and everything of the game earlier in the year. I figured, this is going to be a good game, but I probably won't buy it..... My Opinion has obviously changed on that now;

Control: The Control is tighter than any Mario Kart Game to date, definetly the best of all three in this area.

Gameplay: It's similar to the other Mario Kart games, with a few new added features, I haven't played it long enough to see all the items, but so far, I've seen everything that was in Mario Kart 64. The AI in this game has definetly been improved upon in this game, greater challenge, and the big guys will go out of their way to hit you if they can safely. The new tracks are THE best in any Mario Kart game, right now, I have Four Cups available with 16 tracks, there is one hidden Cup, and 20 other hidden tracks that you can unlock by collecting enough coins making a total of 40 tracks.

Replay Value: It's MARIO KART, probably the most addictive racing series ever made, this one is no exception, this game IS addictive. With increased depth in gameplay, the huge amount of tracks to unlock, the huge funfactor, and the very easy to look at graphics, this is a game that you'll be able to pick up and play for years.

Graphics: I saw the screenshots at IGN, but they were no indication of how good the graphics actually are (that seams to happen with a lot of GBA games for some reason), the graphics are more colorful than the SNES version, and surprisingly, quite a bit more detailed as well. The animations surprisingly are the best of all the Mario Kart games. All in all, for 2D graphics, they're way ahead of the SNES Mario Kart Game.

Sound: With Headphones, the sound is amazing quality, I am quite surprised myself at how high its quality was, even after playing Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

Overall: THE best game on the system so far, and the most addictive handheld game since Tetris.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Hell yes. And with four player mode (each with their own full screen) it's just too amazing.</div>
